Just a simple question guys ,
what's the best to burn to VCD , on the fly , I find Ashampoo burning studio 5.20 keeps telling me this isn't good enough for a VCD , & only handles MPG's
I have quite a few Avi & Wmv files as well

    thank you

I've always used Nero without any hassles.
    If in doubt, Google it.

You ask about burning a VCD, but it seems like you're asking about how to take "any" kind of media file, encode it to VCD specs mpeg, author it as VCD and finally burn it to disc.
I suggest TMPGEnc to encode to VCD mpg, then VCDEasy to author and, if possible, burn. If the burning engine in VCDEasy isn't compatible with your system, you can take the output from VCDEasy and burn it wit most apps, like Nero.
Unlike jimmalenko, I've had several faliures with Nero, as (some versions at least) creates not fully compliant VCD.
There are many guides on the subjects of "??? to VCD" under Convert left, for the interested audience.
