Hi, I've had bad luck with software coflicts when it comes to antivirus and spyware protection software. Can anyone recommend spyware protection that won't conflict, I want to run a new browser like Firefox as it claims to have great protection for spyware but worry if this was a problem the last time I had it installed?

I use the free AVG antivirus, along with SpyBot S&D, and SpywareBlaster. None of them seem to interfere with each other or other programs.

I don't use Firefox, but I understand it has less vulnerabilities than IE6 as far as Trojans and viruses, so it's probably a good choice.

What version? I still run 0.9 and no conflicts. Along with Spybot, Sypwareblaster, Zonealarm and now AVAST Free antivirus since the new AVG screwed up everyone's computer I know that tried to update to the free 7.0 vs.

(I know I should update Firefox but there are a couple extensions I really like that have not been updated to work with versions above 0.9.)

If you have conflicts with any of the above I would think some system function is corrupt...
