  1. i'm on the warpath to completing a project, this project consists of converting about 60 vhs to dvd .... i have an ati tv wonder pro, and it works like a charm, i have it set up perfect and can caputre good audio/video -- the problem is is that after i capture the video and "finish - save to computer" in dvi format --- i just lose the audio...my friend told me that this happened to him to -- is this a known error? (could i just be missing a codec to play the mpeg2 audio?) anyway --- if someone has converted a bunch of vhs to dvds and know of a good capture - edit - finish/burn program or diff programs for each step (thats efficient -- i have 60 to do), i'd greatly appriciate it....i have toyed arround with sonic my dvd --- and thinks its kinda crazy (especially for capturing) and have used inter video a little. Any help/suggest/profanities/belittling would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, really thanks you

  2. Try and capture directly to mpeg-2.
    Author directly to dvdr.
No more codec issues, no more lost audio...

  4. No, not with WMM. Take a look through this list: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=&s=5&orderby=Name&hits=50&convert=&dvdauthor...+or+List+tools
Find one that caps to mpeg-2.
Author with Sonic if you must. Look under HOW TO AUTHOR for far more options.
