  1. When I use Easy CD creator 5 to burn 689MB - 699Mb data to 700Mb blank, I got no error, but after 'burn sucessfully'.
I can't read the data at all.

    Anyone knows why ?

  3. I'm not burning VCD,
    I'm burning DATA
using Easy CD Creator 5 Wizard
whenever I burn <680Mb its fine, but above 680Mb the problem start.

btw I use HP CDwriterPlus 8100, and Fuji 700Mb Media

Let me know what more details do you want, I'm very curious to solve the problem.

and I also like to know if others has the same problem too.

A friend of mine has the same burner and he once said that 80 min CDRs are not fully supportd with this burner, he could only burn max 78 min music CDs ... So your problem is an old, crappy burner

Have a look here for a bit of explanation http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg40817.html

One thing that stands out is your comment about the wizard and this extract from the link above:

" Easy CD Creator 3.01d and later will allow recording data or audio on an 80-minute disc, but it is NOT supported through the Wizard. Use the main interface instead."

Sounds like this may be your problem.
