  1. After encoding an wmv/wmaV2 file to a demultiplexed m2v/mp2 file and then multiplexing so I have a complete m2v/mp2 file I have serious problem with the audio being out of sync

The problem starts at the outset of the film by about half a second and get worse as the film goes on finally ending up so badly out of sync I cant tell how out of sync it is in terms of how far behind the audio the video is, it gets that bad

I am seriously deflated now, bugger! lol

  2. It happens with WMV. There was a thread once where someone said you could use Windows Movie Maker to convert it to DV Avi before encoding. A litle extra quality loss, but better than desync i bet.

    Oh bollocks!!!

Im gutted to be honest, it was all going so well, HC encoded the video about 30% faster than Tmpgenc and all was left was the multiplex...then dissapointment

Oh well, I can only hope someone has some other ideas perhaps?
