  1. Ok, I downloaded a movie that was an avi file, but when I try to play it in the Windows media player I am only getting audio, and no video. I have downloaded and installed the DivX411 Codec, and the Kristal Studio Pack Codecs and still am having no luck at viewing this movie. Any ideas what I am doing wrong, or could it just be the file? I also have tried to convert it to a mpg file but when I tried that, I got this error saying that "video not available, cannot find "vids:divx: decompressor" so what does that mean? Please Help!!!!!!! : (

  3. DivX 3.11 is included in the Krystal studios pack. Open the file in VirtualDub and look at the file information. Also open it in media player while connected to the net and it will try and D/L the codec. If it can't then it's probably DivX and you'll need to re-intall the Krystal Studios Pack.

  4. Ok, I tried what you said Greg, and it didn't work. I still have no video , just audio. I am going NUTS here!! I don't know what else to try. Why does it keep telling me that the "video not available, cannot find "vids:divx" decompressor" what does that mean exactly??? does that mean that there is something wrong with my system or the file itself? I am stumped!! Please Help!!
