  1. How can I make a video play brighter on the computer? (it's a .wmv, but hopefully all types will work)
I have my monitor on the highest brightness... but when I make it brighter in Adobe Gamma, the whole screen goes extremely bright.. images included, EXCEPT the video stays at it's original lightness. Anyone know how I can view it brighter? Or even a program I can use to view it brighter if it comes to that?

(oh yeah.. also, since my computer tends to lag sometimes, if i'm say on my internet browser, then quickly switch back to windows media player, the video is like triple the brightness for about 2 seconds then goes back to it's original dark.. so i know it CAN be viewed lighter lol)

    Thanks

  2. You can load it into Windows Movie Maker and adjust the brightness, then save it to a new movie.

Have you tried bsplayer? Right click on the video window, then choose video... color control... brightness. I have been testing this player since someone posted a reference to it a while back. It's not too bad.
