    I have an m2v and ac3 file I'm trying to multiplex with Tmpgenc. I choose simple multiplex mpeg2 vbr. When I start it, it hangs up and only creates a 64kb file. Most files work fine, but occasionaly this happens with some. BTW,the same video files that will crash tmpgenc will also crash DVDMF or VS8. Any ideas?

    Try the ac3 filter or plugin. Look in the TOOLS section.
