  1. I have used both GUI for DVD Author and DVDAUthorGUI to try and create a DVD from a DV AVI file using QUENC to create the mpeg. I want to have 13 chapters, but DVD Author complains that there are only 2 and gives up.

    Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?

    which program is giving you the error? Are you talking about a menu that jumps to a particulat chapter? Post the log so that we can get a more detailed description to the problem.

    The error appears in the combined log. The example below is a smaller file with only 4 chapters.

  4. As we had a long discussion by email on this topic, I want to add a few things...
    It is a problem of the QuEnc output. As it seems, there are gaps or something like this in the SCR (or PTS) of the stream. I could not reproduce the problem right now, but I think it is a problem of the QuEnc settings or already within the input stream (AVI file itself or Avisynth output).
