Hey guys I just recorded my first couple of disc with my DVR-220 and finalized them. However, when I go to put them in another recorder, the Title menu doesnt come up. You know the 1 of 9 that you choose from before you finalize the disc. Do you know what might be wrong or how I could fix it? Or is it just the simple fact that I wont see the design unless I play it on my Recorder or another Pioneer DVD player or Recorder? Thanks.

That's a "feature" of the Pioneers. It always records discs in automatic play mode. The menu is accessible by pressing the menu button on the player's remote.

I gethca, well in the future do you think they'll make DVD Recorders that will let you have a Title page whih will be viewable on all DVD player after you create it. Or is there a another brand like Sony or Toshiba that incorporates this bonus feature into their recorder. Just out of curiousity, even though my poor bu-tt couldnt afford a $400 Sony even if I wanted on. Thanks.

I've read Panasonic-user posts that their units have a setting where you choose (before recording the DVD) if you want the DVD to show the menu or to automatically play. I wish the Pioneers had this. I don't know about other brands.
