  1. Hi

I've been working with a dual layer burner for a few weeks now with limited success. All of the DVDs created can be read without problems in the drive which created them but the read success in other devices seems to be rather poor. I thought I'd post my results here and asks others to offer their opinions.

None of the problems I'm having appear to be software related - I'm just talking here about hardware/media compatability.

  4. Who makes that Traxdata DL+R media? If its not MKM then that may be your problem or the Liteon drive writes badly. I have had good success with many drives. Pioneer K14/K15 and NEC 6500A but I have used MKM media and Sonic Rec now 7.22.

  5. For any others looking at this thread. Suggest you look at the DVD Media Lists which rates compatibility. Based on the results of others using TraxData media my results are normal and the results I'm geting with this drive are comparable with others. Think I'll try media that others suggest is more reliable.
