Erasing on LiteOn 5005

Erasing on LiteOn 5005 is driving me nuts. Everytime I try to erase one icon (title) of say four I've taped, all the icons (titles) are erased. This can't be right. Can't find solution in manuel. Am about to take it back to the store. Help

As far as I know, that's how it works -- when you erase, you are erasing the entire disc. I have the same model, and that's how it works on mine too...

are you highlighting the title, then pressing the edit button, then select erase? The only way I could see you erasing the entire disc is if you erased in the easy guider menu

Thanks solidsnake. It works. Couldn't find that in manual. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it. The playback seems fuzzy, even at different speeds.

those units have crappy playback, I'd suggest playing it on a better dvd player hooked up with component if you got it, then decide. I never watch what I record on the recorder itself, it puts a green tint output that you dont see when you watch it on a different player.
