I am currently using SAW32 at work on a Windows NT. This summer, we are finally getting new PCs with XP. My question for you is: what kind of new audio editing program should I get?
Here's what I need: multi-track editing (I only use 4 at a time, don't really need anything bigger, but can't use anything less), non-destructive editing, prefer PC based, but I might be abl to talk the boss into a Mac.
Any ideas? This will be for 3 machines and the company is paying for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Obviously I looked in the tools section, but nothing there seemed to fit my needs.

Steinberg Wavelab v5 - Audio Montage Feature Allows you to do multitrack, plus all effects run in realtime so you can check the sound of a plugin before you need to render it. Powerful, and easy to use. I've used it for years - and the app has few equals for sound processing.
