Hey guys hows it going? I was wondering if anyone had a document formatted to print out case covers for DVD cases after I make a copy of a DVD. Like for instance Ive been recording NBA games and want to Make a Title for the Front, a spine title, and some statistic on the back of the cover. So yea, like a book cover if you know hwat I mean. If you do could you send me a blue print of the document to Razortceps@yahoo.com so I can just fill in the blanks and print covers for the things I need. Thanks.

Are you looking for something that is text only or would you want to be able to add pictures, backgrounds, logos, etc.

    Hey guy,

I think this is what you want. A Microsoft Word template formatted to print standard DVD cases. Just supply your own artwork and text
    Good Luck!

Hey Paisan I downloaded what you showed me and that exactly what I basically want. However, when I opened up the file and went to type, the flashing marker bar were your next letter appears would move foward when I typed as though I was actually typing something, but something appeared. It was almost like I was just pressing the spacebar when really I was typing out letters. Also what I found weird about this template was that it typed like it normally would type out a document and not in a sideways banner fashion so that when you printed the cover the title would be hortizal across the box like it should be rather than vertically where youd have to read the box sideways. So could you offer an extra help. Also gadgetguy im interested to also hear about this template that you speak of where you can add picture, backgrounds, and logos even though Ill probably just be using text. However, it would be cool to be able to put a Chicago Bulls logo on my NBA recorded games. Thanks!

  7. I have a different Word DVD template. I made it myself. It's intended to be printed out and hand-written. Requires only two cuts and prints on standard 8.5x11 paper. PM me and I'll email it to you.

I asked because the template I have is really only for text. But here it is if you want it anyway.

Note that this is a template so it should be downloaded and placed in your template folder. Then in Word you start a new document and select DVD_Cover as the template (as opposed to a blank document). Also, depending on your printer, it has a tendancy to clip the right edge of the front because the printer won't print to that part of the page.

Then again, I'm not sure I want to help a Bulls fan...

Hey Gadgetguy and Hooter Honker thanks for both your help, I snuck out of class early to check your to templates out. They were almost the same in all regards, but sometimes it seemed as though you version had a slant or slighty wobblely around the bordering line Gadget. However, it was formated better than Honkers in the sense that you could type all the way to end end of the page and only one letter would be cut off compared to Honkers where about 5 letters would be cut off. Yet his did not have that slight slant. So Im going to play around with both of them and see what happens. With that known I dont want to keep opening Honkers file over and over again, do you know how to set what he send me as a template, so I can have easy acess to it like I do your Gadget?

Thanks again guys, this was a great help!

Open his file and save it as a .dot file instead of a .doc file.
