Ok, my multisystem VCR has been working in LP mode only for a while, while I also have another spare PAL or NTSC VCR (with PAL output only or NTSC 4.3)
I connect the two with SCART cable with Multisystem one being last in the chain.
Here's the deal.
From one of my VHS tapes I was able to extract this image as comparison between the two VCR.
If you compare the frames the Samsung (multsistyem one) has much more vibrant picture color quality while the other one, although it is higher in contrast, makes my eyes hurt.
(it looks like there is a green-see-through-curtain accross the entire screen)
Considering we have all these tools availalbe would it be worth it to adjust colors and how in other words I could emulate the picture quality of SAMSUNG VCR?
(also for example in Tmpgenc there is a Custom Color Correction box that I have tried using many times but when I would adjust one segment the next one would get screwed up - is there a specific colorspace that I should use YUV, RGB, Etc etc).
Picture one (damaged VCR - which I preffer better).
Picture two (healthy VCR - the one I don't like)
thx
Look at the letter L on the lower left. You will notice that in my preffered VCR is just simply more yellow than in the other one.
thx again.
