I am attempting to convert an AVI file (DivX 4) to a MPEG-2 but I keep getting some errors. In TMPGEnc Xpress, when I attempt to encode, it says “Invalid sample format (error code 0x80048002).” When I try to open it up in VirtualDubMod, it says “Warning: Nothing to output BFrame Decoder Lag.” Yet, I can play the AVI file fine. How come I cannot encode or edit it?
Thanks

In virtualdubmod, select Video, direct stream copy. Then select Streams, stream list, RIGHT click the audio stream, and select Full Processing, then click Save .WAV
Click File, save avi.
Use the newly saved avi as the video source, and the extracted .wav as the audio source. Import both into tmpgenc.Cheers, Jim
