Hello. I currently own a Pinnacle DV500. However, it is prone to creating a uniform boxlike jaggied effect thoughout the captured image - particularly in the reds. I've found no effective way to remove the blocks (no deblocking filter will fiox them).
The DV500 is about 3 years old; are newer devices less prone to creating the blocky look? If so, what should I upgrade to? (i do have a limited budget, under $200, and I do need to use Virtualdub and Adobe Premiere to edit the captured movies with.)
Thanks much!
