  1. ok, i use dvd2svcd to convert avi movies to dvd files (using TMPGEnc as the encoder) but it doesnt work for mpeg movie files, is there any possible way to do it?

    i like using dvd2svcd because its good quality conversion even if it does take hours to do =)

    are the mpegs dvd complaint? then just author them no need to convert anything.

    you can use avicodec to identify mpegs.

    tmpgenc dvd author! just add the mpgs and it will convert the audio to dvd compliant(48khz) and make an optional menu, author and burn.

    or dvd-lab or svcd2dvd.

  6. is there anyway of solving this problem using tmpgenc dvd author?

    "The GOP of the video is too long.
    DVD-video standard requires the GOP is structured as below.

    36 fields (18 frame) (NTSC)
    30 fields (15 frame) (PAL)"
