I can copy Mpg-2 files easily on to my computer from my ReplayTV using the DVArchive program.
I am having trouble finding a good prooram that will allow me to spilt, cut or trim the files easily. The programs always seems to want to rewrite the files completely.
I would like to simply split the files - no compression or changes to the Mpeg-2. Is that possible? What is the best program for this?

Have you tried RTVTools?
They have to be used through Dos Command Window, but I do not think they change anything except headers in the mpg2 files. -
