  3. You can mess with the filters and equalizer in Goldwave, and possibly get something close.
    If the vocals are on one track, and music on another, it's easy.

    I have goldwave and just demux with no problem..Let me ask you something, Is there a way to extract the music from a file that has voice dubbed over the music ?

    Like reboot says, some filters might achieve something to that effect if the audio fulfils some narrow prerequisities, like the music sounds being left or right channel only, and voice sounds equally distributed left & right. Then it's possible. Unfortunately, in realty the situation is much more complex, that's why the "No".

    i was able to demux the audio into a wave file. Now comes the hard part in extracting the voices from the soundtrack.....
