Check out this dvd player. It is not a dvd recorder, but it has me thinking whether or not we will head that direction.

It would be cool if we could remove the hard drive from our dvd recorders and use it as an external on our PC, upload and download as we please.

thats pretty sweet.. but even a step ahead of that would be to have a wireless connection to the dvd player/recorder that will play content from your computer, or let you transfer it to the hard drive in the dvd recorder/player.
