  1. I have a Divx file which I cant play in my Philips DVP 630 player, when I try re encode it with VirtuleDub i get the following message

"VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 42234 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the entire audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder (bitrate 126+-28.1 kbs)"

As i am new to this i could do with a little help pointing me in the right direction as I have read all the guides i can find and am a littel confused. i have no idea how to decompress the audio or how to recompress it and dont know how to sinc the two together again.

Im sure there is a guide for all this but not sure what to look for
