    this is a Fijifilm 8x DVD+R with media code YUDEN000 T02. It was burned with a BenQ DW1620. when i did a disk quality scan with the benQ i got a quality score of 97. Now i scaned it with a BTC 1108IM and now look:

  4. I've only burned one YUDEN000T02. It was "That's" brand.



    Seems like we got comparable results.

  7. I think he is referring to the drop in the quality score. As that score will take a serious hit with just a slight increase in PIF count or range, I don't use it.

    This is a good example of why you don't compare scans from different drives. Error correction and reading ability vary and BenQ scans at 8X while BTC at 4X.
