  1. I captured small 1 min clip with Win XP Movie maker in the DV-AVI mode. Got an AVI file. Quality of video and audio is great. Tried to burn it with Nero on SVCD template got the message of not supporting MPEG-2, tried to burn it on VCD template. Got no sound at all. Then I used TMPGenc to convert it to SVCD MPEG-2 using exactly the template from this website. Got excellent picture, couldn't believe the quality, but THE AUDIO SUCKED! It sounded like my audio got slowed down 5-fold and sounded like monsters (weird). Any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I really would like to know because I was very excited about the video quality. For some reason VideoStudio 5.0 didn' give the same.
