  1. I backed up the Special Features disc on DVD. It is around 6.5G. So I shrinked it and burned it. When I play it and get to the menu screen, I can't select any of the special features. There is no option to scroll or select any of the special features.

Anyone know what is wrong. Is it because I shrinked it?

The movie backed up fine, just the special features is giving me problems.

What did you shrink it with ?

And when you say you can't select any of the special features do you mean the links are not there or you can't hilite them to select them ?

Does it work when you play it in your computer? Some menus are designed for DVD-ROM and some for set top players. I'm not saying that this is what has happened in your case, but there could be some DVD vs Set top menu issues here. Just to see, you ought to try playing it on your computer.

This is kinda what I meant

The reason I ask is because I just(5 Mins Ago) Ripped the Extra Disc "Didnt Burn it" and I saw some Bull*** files on there that were Black.

  6. Well I did try playing it on my computer, and I can select only via mouse. I still can't scroll down each option and highlight them. But if I put my mouse over each option and click on it, it works.

And I used DVD Shrink to shrink it.

I did play the original on my DVD player and it played fine.

Is not being able to scroll down the options the same way the original behaved on the computer? If so, you may have a DVD-ROM-only menu that somehow has been copied to your intended Set-top disk. If not, then you prbably have a bad copy. Try it again.
Try using a DVD RW disk so you don't waste a disk next time.

    Hmm..
I had a problem like this once a long time ago because i just unchecked everything, like sub's, and there were some unref. material so i unchecked them and when i played it back the links would not hilite
So i was thinking maybe you did something like this by mistake trying to save space for the backup

Better yet, mount the ripped ISO file with virtual DVD like Alcohol 120% and see how it works without burning it at all. Not only doesn't waste a potential blank, you don't have to wait to burn it either. Check it out before you burn it.
