Ok, I got it finally. Wish it was networked but the go video and others were much more $$$.

I understand there is some nice firmware options, much like my burners and such. Wheres a good readup and the best current firmware what what will it do for me? How do you install it? Like I said, I did a small search but im so tired Im not sure what Im doing...lol

There are a few unofficial firmware updates which help with subtitles and give you the option to revert back to an earlier firmware without macrovision (this prevents copying to a vcr). Macrovision was started in the 1109 & 0112 firmwares - firmware 0531 doesn't have it. However some newer models (type S) won't downgrade to 0531.

The latest official firmware 0112 has subtitle support and probably has the latest support for divx files. Also you can open the tray door by holding the stop button for one second (0531 FU requires 2 seconds).
