  1. Help!
I have a LEGAL copy of PowerDVD deluxe 5.0

when I got a new laptop it came with a crippled dell version of powerdvd 5.1.

Now I can't get the advanced features of PowerDVD deluxe!

I uninstalled powerdvd from dell, and installed the deluxe version, but it seems like the registry entries from the crippled version are still there. When I run powerdvd, only the basic controls show up.
I don't see any of the advanced settings like being able to adjust the video color, or set the window to be always on top...

    Please HELP!

    thanks

You can download the full version of WinDVD 4 for free here:

Personally...I like WinDVD 4 better than PowerDVD.

To cure your PowerDVD issue, you need to uninstall PowerDVD, then you'll need to go through your registry and clean PowerDVD out of it manually. Or download AceUtilities and have it scan and clean out your registry for you.
