Anybody here have either SF2 Anniversary Collection, or the first Batman game?

The BATMAN game refuses to work with anything but the original XBOX controller. All others are rejected and game refuses to load.

The SF2 ANNIV COLL has controller lag from hell. I have not experienced anything this crappy since I played the Atari 2600. I tried a PS1 controller, a PS2 contoller, the original XBOX, and the "S" controller. Nothing works consistantly. This blows.

I generally use my PS1 for Tony Hawk and SF2-like fighting games. The XBOX ones I use for original XBOX games. These two games just really are a pain in the ass.

  2. I have SF2 anniversary. I use it with my arcade stick no probs. To be honest I have never played it with the controller.

I will give it a go when I get home tonight and let you know.
    If it's wet, drink it

  3. Third party stuff some times has problems. I think one of my friends had the same problem with a dreamcast.

I was looking forward to this game for a long time, and when I finally get it .. I cannot stand to play it. All of the same controllers work with SF vs Marvel, etc ... the other games with SF2 characters. Which arcade stick have you got? This game means a lot to me, so I'm willing to buy a new controller for it. I've been playing SF2 since it came out in 1992 in the USA.
