Another is the idiots, or they must think we ARE the idiots who complain their "Backup" is comming up with error during playing and or reading / scanning, most often is the CRAP media they are using but they would like to know if they can RE Backup the Backup and will it be fixed. The immediate suggestion to these Brain Surgeons is to simply go to their DVD cabinet and pull out the original and re do the backup on good media. But WAIT,,, we ALL know they no longer REALLY have the original BECAUSE THEY GOT IT FROM NETFLIX,,,, ok actually my dog ate my copy of NEMO and so I have to redo my scratched backup and,,,, OH NO,,, WHAT TO DO!!!

I have a NEC DL burner ( doesn't bother saying which model but hey who cares right ) and copied this movie I have directly to a DL DVR+R No compression. It's not playing right at all,,,( Now so far this guy/gal is about to make me feel bad enough for me to actually try to help him/her,,, ahhh but they insisted on screwing it all up by stating the following )
I used NERO to do a direct copy on the fly,,,,,,,,,,( yes boys and girls, Direct copy without decryting!!!!! )

It just went down hill after that.

I gotta go with MackemX on this one. Asking if you can burn a dvd on a cd burner is not a stupid question for someone who is just begining. At least no more so than asking if you can burn a cd on a dvd burner. An example, relating to small engines. A good friend of mine who has a small business, was asked by a customer about using a certain kind of lubricant on the air filter. After he telling him and him leaving, he turns to me and says "I cant get over how stupid people are" Common sense tells you to use this weight of oil on a filter. I said, I must not have a lick of common sense, cause I didn't know that. He say's, anyone who knows anything about small engines, knows that. If his customers knew what he knew, he wouldn't be in business. My point being, it's common sense to those who are familiar with the craft. Newbie's gotta start somewhere.

Well, there some questions that you just have to think,, OK, this guy means well, he simply doesn't know, we all had to start this way.

Then there are simply really stupid people out there and the problem is that they don't make one iota of an effort to at least look for the anwer to their ? or problem. That's why they get bombarded without mercy.

Look, to show how stupid some people are, I'll share a little story about a Pathologist that I used to work with. We will leave HER name out of it. Let it suffice that you simply do not become an MD/Pathologist/PhD with out at least a couple of ounces of ability or general knowledge. RIght?
Here is the INCIDENT:

Our board of Governnors was in for their quaterly pow wow. Then the smell of fire began to permiate the floor I worked at and rather than just tripping the manual alarms it was decided to call the safety personel to explore where the smell was coming from. Now normally we evacuate the whole institute. All 700+ but due to the Board of Govs visit , it was decided to not act too hastily.

Ok here it goes,,, This Doctor was in the restroom taking care of business. She accidentaly droped her cell phone in the toilet. She fished it out and rinsed it in the snk. She wiped it as dry as she could, but,,,, since it was probably wet inside,,,, she stuck it in trhe MICROWAVE for about 10 min on HIGH,,,, We now have a new Microwave,, I think you all get the picture.

She is in charge to a whole department in a very prominent agency.

If you all think my little story about the Pathologist is hard to believe. actually, that was the mildest of the stories.

On a snowy winter morning, she was driving to work and saw someone dive bomb their automobile into the side of a ditch. She pulled her LEXUS along the side of the road to help this person, after all she was an MD right? Shortly the police arrived and shortly after that a huge crash got their attention as someone slammed into her LEXUS causing them to flip twice and DIE

Now how's that for a way to ruin your F***ing day!! She is presently on her 4th LEXUS in about 5 years. Not because a cuter, more expensive new model happen to be available either.
