  1. Are there any free utils that will pull the audio off of a DVD
    and convert it to MP3?

I wanted to try this w/one of my concert DVDs, but never heard of
    anyone doing this yet....?

    Thanks!

Um.. yeah. I did. Nice of you to ask.
Most of the things I was finding were not free, and thus my
question about finding out if any of the products were free.

Maybe I should have rephrased the question, to a "which FREE product
would you reccommend for me to use for this...."

I probably would have gotten the same response instead of a friendly
reply. DO A SEARCH... Keep in mind that everyone is not familliar
with this board or as web-savvy as you and will need some help finding things from time to time.

But, anyways thank you for the links. I'll do some more hunting....

  7. Rip your DVD to one large VOB with DVDDecrypter - its free. So you dont have to juggle around with many VOBs. Or use the stream processing option to demux the audio.

Otherwise use BeSweet to extract audio from VOB files. Make sure you have vobinput.dll file.

If the DVD is a KaraOK or music video form then you may have to take time to cut them out. Can think of using MP3direct cut.

Commericial DVD audio rippers will save you the trouble.
