I'm curious if one is any better than the other. I've tried trials of both, but I'm guessing AnyDVD may be the favorite. Can anyone who has tried both offer an opinion? They both seem very good. Thanks!!

me too. DVD43 is buggy and didnt work 100% for me
AnyDVD is amazing. Too bad that when 3 weeks are up its done until you reformat your computer.

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. Suggesting a method to bypass trials is a violation of the rules, specifically because it advocates warez. After your 3 weeks are up, should you choose to continue using it, go buy it.

He's referring to the 21 day free trial. Try it, if you like it, buy it! He would be wasting his time if he were reformating his hard drive every 21 days just to use AnyDVD for free. I like it best because it has worked every time. I purchased it because they have great support, constantly updating it.

  10. I actually put the order in for both earlier today and I am awaiting the key for both (Anydvd & CloneDvd). A friend of mine has both programs and I tried to copy them onto my hardrive (keeping in mind that I had a copy of them already - older versions) but after getting my hands on the newer versions of both I encountered problems with CloneDvd. I kept getting an error message saying that my trial period was over and I had the correct key and all. I reboot it the PC when instructed to do so and entered the key correctly but it still told me that the trial period was over.

What could have been the problem?

Also, since both programs on are still on my HD do you think it will have any affect after I get the programs directly from Elby and Slysoft?

  12. It's funny I just got my key right now.

My question however is do you think I will encounter problems once I acesss clonedvd at home since the program's trial period was over? The only reason i am asking is because my buddy lend me his key and it didn't work on my PC. I cannot find out until i get home later tonight since I am at work right now. Thanks.

Hopefully not, my AnyDVD trial was over when I bought the key and it worked. Of course there was yet another update available for it. I updated it, was told to restart, then everything worked like a charm. Hope it goes as smoothly for you.

I hope so too; thanks for your insight.

By the way have you ever encountered problems (not being able to back-up any movie) with the use of both programs?
