    Hey guys,

    Just curious as to what software you recomend for DVD Authoring...

    I am looking for something to do simple menu's with, easy editing (taking out commercials), and the best quality... Most of my current video files are copied from my TiVo.

    Based on your requirements, tmpgenc DVD author. It will do all that you ask without requiring a degree in rocket science. The only issue might be the Tivo source, but as I am Australian, and we don't have tivo here, I am no expert.

    I would also try TMPGEnc DVD Author with the AC-3 plug-in (if you need to ENCODE to AC-3 format).
