making video_ts

guys can same of you tell me how can i make this folder video_ts and what prog i needed i have 1-aurora dvd,vcd,creater 2-super video convert 3-power video convert 4-xilisoft video convert.and steal i can't created this folder i'm just give up my selp. any help appreciated

It's just a folder name...the question is do you know what files to put in it?

This folder is created when you AUTHOR a file to dvd. It holds all the video and audio information for dvd playback. You would use a dvd authoring program to do this.

What is that you are trying to do. Do you have a file which you want to convert to a DVD. If that is the case then you have to first convert your file to a DVD compliant MPEG2 file. Secondly, you have to use a DVD authoring s/w to create the DVD file structure. VIDEO_TS folder is part of DVD file structure. It seems that the tools you have are only for encoding and not for authoring.

I strongly suggest that you go through the "What is" & "How to" sections on this forum.

Right click on ur desktop ... click new.... select folder .... name folder VIDEO_TS (must be in caps) ... use xilisoft video convert or similar to make dvd compliant vob files and save them in the folder u just created ... now open the VIDEO_TS folder and rename the files VTS_01_1, VTS_01_2 and so on until all files are renamed (make sure they are in the right order) .... now download and open ifoedit ... click create new ifo's (its one of the buttons along the bottom in ifoedit) ... select the first vob file ie VTS_01_1 ... choose to save files in the same as source folder hit the ok button etc ... wait till done and hey presto now you just need to create an AUDIO_TS folder (nothing actually goes in this folder).... burn both these folders (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS)to a dvdr and ur done

VSO DivXToDVD seems to be the ticket for me. It says DivXTo DVD but it seems to convert just about any AVI or MPEG to a DVD, creating the VIDEO_TS folder and putting in all the needed files (I create a seperate AUDIO_TS folder also, just in case).

I found that if I want to join more than one file then I need to close and reopen the program for each file I want to convert so that it makes a seperate folder for each file. Then either use DVDshrink to join all the VOB files and burn with DVDdecrypter or use an Authoring program like TMPGEnc DVD Author if you want to add menus.
