  1. hi......great site here!!
i have an intel "camera pro" pc cam. the software it comes with called "create and share" is just garbage. it has snapshot and video record functions. what i'm interested in is the video. the snapshots it takes are fine, but the video quality blows.......15 fps and 1/3 of the frames are redundant.
i've tried a number of progs that say "video capture" or recorder, but they all make you use your existing software. in other words, when you want to capture video from your cam, it won't do it directly. it only opens create and share for me.

so what i want to know is if there is a program that will record video right from my camera, bypassing any other vid recording software on my pc. i tried the page here that shows various capture devices/methods, but none seem to fit my needs. but then i'm a bit confused with some of the terms used.
sorry if i sound ignorant about video........but i am !!

anyway, my main reason for wanting a prog to do this is quality. i want much better video quality than the create and share software will allow.

    thanks.....

It may not be possible for the camera to do the desired functions.

I have a Intel PC Pro camera. I can capture video from this camera using the Ulead Video Studio 4.01. The quality of the captured avi is very grainy and not good at all!
