I have captured a 2 hour video in DVD (mpeg2) format. The size of the file is over 6G. So it will not fit on a single DVD. I have Nero ultra edition 6 for burning DVD. Is there any tool that will burn what ever will fit onto a DVD (about 4.7 G) and then burn the rest onto a 2nd DVD ?

De-Multiplex the MPEG, use IFOEdit to author to DVD. Use DVD Shrink to compress and burn.

If you want to split you can use tmpgenc dvd author. Add the mpg and use the built in editor and select the first part and burn. Add the same movie again and burn the other part.

Thanks for all the replies. I was trying to avoid re-authoring. Spliting the mpg hopefully is fast because I assume this required no reauthoring. Will the spliting tool allow me to determine where to split so that a can fill up one DVD first before moving on to the next. I just want to fully use the space on each disc. Can some one suggest a good tool that can do it?
I was also told that there is a DVD authoring tool that will try to fit a larger file onto a single Disc by reducing the picture quality automatically. Of course it will ask me to decide befroe burning the DVD with reduced quality. Any idea which tool can do that ? This may be a prefer option if I am willing to accept the reduced quality. I like things done automatically.
