    i want to extract .vob files from my dvd to my harddrive and i wanted to make the .vob's into one .avi how would i go about doin this? thnkx

    dr. divx, autogk,vidomi or virtualdub-mpeg2 if you want to make divx, xvid avi or dv avi.

  3. I use DVDx to extract VOB files from a DVD and write them out as MPEG files. I don't remember whether it can also do AVI.

    You know the Convert section left? Take a look under "DVD to AVI"...

    Now there's a novel concept ...

    There's many different ways, many different softwares that will integrate all the steps for you such as any of the tools listed here, or alternatively if you know what you're doing or have a good guide then you can do each step manually. There's quite a number of guides listed here also.

  7. Use DVDDecrypter to extract VOBs. Select "No Split" so that you get one big VOB. Then use VirtualDubMOd to convert VOB to AVI.

    Read the "How To" section for more details.
    When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.
