Hi!
My question is in fact related more to software than video but I think this forum is the best place where advices are most possible.
I am trying ti install Debian Linux and there are two ways to get the sofwtare, by 7 CD s or one DVD. They are all in ISO files.
The way to fetch DVD ISO is very complicated and psibly slow why the way to get CD ISO images is very fast. I wonder of there is any way to combine 7 ISO CD into a DVD because the content of them are basically equivalent.
One way I have though of is using Winrar to get all content of ISO file and combine them into a large collection. But there is one mopre requirement that the DVD has to be bootable. My past expereince has shown that, burning ISO file can create bootable CD but with the same ISO file, after extracting all file with Winrar and burn them into CD, they are not bootable any more ( I do not understand why).
I hope I have been able to make some clear this a bit tricky requirements.
Regards.

You should just be able to extract all the files into one big folder then make a bootable DVD in Nero or something like that, but I'm not sure how well it will emulate the bootable DVD that is available. If I were you I'd just burn the CD Images to CD and then you don't have to worry about it.
If in doubt, Google it. -
You do realize that to "fetch" the dvd iso takes 7 times longer than to "fetch" a cd iso....that's normal.
