Hi, I am using an Apple iMac G3 with an NEC 3520A DVD-+RW drive with Toast 6 on OSX 10.3.8.
My problem is that when burning any kind of disc wether it be a CD or DVD, the clock counter does not run down at the correct speed. As an example when burning a CD on x48 (it does not matter what speed i burn on) the clock counter will say 2 minutes but for every second that passes on the clock about 5 seconds pass in real time. So instead of the CD tacking 2 minutes it is actually takeing 5x longer.
I bought this drive because of its speed, so you could imagine my frustration when i came across this problem. Any help from anyone would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
