i like to have menus in my DVD backups so i use DVDShrink to do Movie Only then open it with TMGEnc DA and add my own menu but the problem is, TMPGEnc DVD Author doesnt recognize/support DTS sound. Is there anyway to make TMPGEnc recognize DTS audio or someway make it so it just uses whatever audio track the movie has so i can add menus through TMPGEnc to movies that have DTS sound too?

ive tried other DVD authoring programs like DVD Lab pro but creating menus with that program isnt nearly as easy as TDA.

getting OTT a little, how about incorporating DVDDecrypter & VOBBlanker into your process along with this guide, which would remove the need to use TDA at all (and therefore sidestep the DTS problem) ? This lets you remove any or all of the extras, but retains the original menu structure.
    If in doubt, Google it.

well thats the thing, original DVD's menus are usually 100mb+ in size whereas TMPGEnc's menus are only like 2mb in size which is nothing so i can have the best quality possible with the movie only then adding on a menu using TMPGEnc DVD Author. DVDSHrink doesnt use the full capacity of a DVD5, it only outputs 4464mb and i believe a DVD5 can hold up to 4470mb so i can add a menu without sacrificing any quality.

i can do this fine for movies that are Dolby Digital 6ch AC3 but it sux TDA doesnt support DTS.

The capacity of a DVD is 4482MB, and you can set DVDShrink to hit this target if you like:

    Go to Edit > Preferences:

... but in all honesty, I doubt very much whether even up to 300MB of menus will make any significant and/or noticeable difference to the quality of the output, but that's JMHO ... ... then there's always the opportunity to set the menus to still image, which should greatly reduce their size.

Check out here for a list of authoring software that will accept DTS. As for getting TDA to accept DTS, you've got no hope I'm afraid ...
    If in doubt, Google it.
