  1. Hi. I've searched up and down the forums looking for a specific answer to my question. I'm still at a blank. I have TMPGENC DVD Author and TMPGENC DVD source creator. I have a still picture I want to use as my menu. I want to add a tune to this still picture from a DVD clip. Is it possible to use the still picture as a menu yet have a tune I got from another source? Please be very descriptive with your replies. Thank you in advance.

TMPGEnc, i have done this alot for dvd's i was authoring in TDA i usually make motion menu's, but there are times when a still photo fit's better....

Close the wizard when starting the program, select the .jpg for the video source, choose the wav for the audio source and choose the template for what you want the video to be, dvd i would assume...
and hit go... after you choose the output file name and location of course
One of the more simple things to do actually....

The final video with the still photo will be as long as the audio clip is.

  3. Ok, thanks for the help Noahtuck. The still picture that I want to use is for the background picture of the menu. Not the thumbnails themselves. What you explained above will work for what I want to do right?

  4. The music that I want to use is on a video clip. How do I extract that tune off the video and insert it in the TMPGEnc audio source? The video clip is already on my computer. I'm new at this so any help will be appreciated.
