    I can register with my reg file, and I am able to start up the SVCD2DVD program, the problem is it will just crash (or abort) after it start up...

    any idea????

    both V1.5 and V2.RC5 (or V2.RC6) have this issue. (but not the demo version)

    What are your Language Settings? In particular the "language for non-unicode"?



    It seems that some oriental languages for this setting can cause problems for SVCD2DVD.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    That's it, I mod the region to US, and it works now.

    Another interesting thing is, while the register version crash, the demo version has no issue at all....
