    hope somebody will help me out, i cant install aspi drivers for use with nero, i am running xp64 amd64 chip, adaptec aspi 471a2 says vaild exe but is for a machine type other than the current machine. hope somebody can help thanks...modge

    nero uses their own ASPI drivers. perhaps you need to upgrade to the latest NERO BURN or check their website for ASPI drivers for your amd64.

    It's possible they may actually need a 64-bit ASPI driver. No idea who makes one if that's the case.

    thanks for the replies, tried force drivers,nothing only supports x83 machines, think i need 64 bit drivers from somewhere.
