I can't believe they put out software like that and put together a lousy guide that only explains 1/4 of the features. I haven't found any guides that fully explain them. There are about a dozen tools and I haven't figured out all the buttons on the ac3 transcode tool. I haven't found a guide here that explains the tools.

  2. Most guides are geared towards a beginner with the software. If you want more information on everything, just click the Help button in DVDLab.
    It's all there.
I have a few guides that might give you some clues for stuff. Link below.

  3. Possibilities are endless in DVD Lab (especially pro). You'd be looking at a 300 page guide. Nobody here gets paid for their guides (or do they?)

    Hi,
Exactly... there are just uncountable amount of features in DVD-Lab Pro.. it's great.. as you get more and more advanced and you think you figured everything out.. you always find something more to make your DVD's even better. Anyways if you need any help with that software.. just post the help questions on the forum and I am sure someone will get back to you with the answers.. or just post on mediachances forums for DVD-Lab Pro or DVD-Lab help.. or just read the help file as it contains a lot of the topics related to DVD-Lab.. but don't worry as you use it more.. you'll figure out more without guides (you have to try to learn).. or you'll never understand even if you read a million guides. At least that's how I learned.

    Regards,

I have noticed audio synce problems with DVDLab does anyone know the cause.

These problems arise only when authoring with a perfectly sync mpeg. It only happens with mpegs that are re-encoded from PAL - NTSC therefore audio from 25fps - 23.97fps.

When I try to fix it with the audio delay it doesn't work because the audio goes out of sync during the last quarter of the movie so if I fix the last quarter then I ruin the earlier the first half of the movie.

I have serched everywhere on this site but I couldn't get an answer.

Also I use Beweet to slowdown my audio and TMPGEnc to encode my video.

Maybe muxing or demuxing causing the problem

Is using Wav audio in DVDLab better than using mp2

Does wav prevent audio sync problem in DVDLab

  8. Try transcoding to AC3 instead.
The problem arises with the frequency change, from whatever the source is, to the DVD spec of 48khz.
The computer will play it fine, no matter what frequency it's at.
    This isn't DVDLab's fault.
