  1. When I try and use the write mode in DVD decryptor I get this error.

    DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!

    Device: [1:0:0] _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG 2.18 (F (ATA)

Unable to lock volumes for exclusive access.

    Reason: Access is denied.

The original disc ripped just fine. It is an unencrypted single layer DVD. I ripped in ISO mode.

    Any ideas?

so ... (just let me clarify this) ... you've got an ISO an your HDD and you're trying to ISO WRITE this in DVDDecrypter ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Does a Windows restart resolve this? I very occasionally get an odd error with Decrypter when I go to burn an ISO image, but restarting clears things up.

I ripped a DVD in ISO read mode with DVD Decryptor to my HDD, and now I am trying to burn the DVD with DVD Decryptor in ISO write mode. Is there a problem with that?

no, no problem ... just trying to establish if another program may have the ISO file open or something ...

That's what the error sounded like to me - I think Steve nailed it with a reboot
    If in doubt, Google it.
