Are there any recommendations about how large .VOB files should be and if there are difference in performance when playing them? For example: is it better (for some reason) to burn a DVD with many small .VOB files at 800 MB than one big 4.5 GB? I just had an idea that large .VOB files are more difficult to play for a DVD player but maybe I'm wrong..

Alright, thanks for the answers. And if I have a 4 GB mpeg2 file, the DVD Authoring software (like Encore DVD) will take care of the rest (splitting the file etc)?
