I have a system, bought 2 years ago, with P4 1.8Ghz & Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Deluxe capture card: I understand that usually it’s not enough CPU power to make decent software/realtime-Mpeg2 capture.. However, by miracle, with Ulead Video Studio 6 (bundled with Leadtek card) I can capture direct-Mpeg2 at 704x480 size with absolute zero-frame drop, and produce much better & more vivid picture quality than capture AVI with PIC MJPEG codec (at 19 quality) then encoding to Mpeg2 afterwards; I am very happy with its end result!
But I have one very serious problem with above method…
I have to click mouse manually to start capture TV shows… whether it will be 8PM, 4AM, 11AM..and so on..: which makes my life crazy!! I tried numerous other Mpeg2 capture software, but absolutely nothing else works (including UVS 7).
I tried to follow the guide to create timer using macro-magic (or any other macro-software) & Window scheduler (https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?link=141), but the Video Studio 6 refuse to accept mouse-click macro…
So, if anybody could help & know how…, I would like to ask a question: is there any way that I can create shortcut key (on keyboard) to start capture with UVS6, possibly by editing registry, etc. -- so that I can at least create macro using keyboard (instead of mouse-clicks) to start capture.. If anyone could suggest anything, I would appreciate it very much..!
