I have had no problems until recently.I have the hookups correct(I have not changed anything and now when I hit play on my VCR I don't see anything on the screen, whereas before I saw the picture of what was on the VHS tape on TV,basically I am wondering why I cannot see the picture on the TV so I can copy it to DVD.
Thanks for the help.
Bill

Do you have audio?
If NO, make sure you have selected the correct input on the record machine.
If YES, try swapping the patch cable(s).
If this doesn't help there may be a technical issue of some sort.
Is your tape copy protected?
If YES, then this is the issue. Buy a TBC
If NO, try a tape you recorded yourself.
Does the second tape work?
If YES, the first tape has issues.
If NO, your recorder has issues. Try another tape/recorder until you determine where the problem lies. -
Have you set up your capture device to the correct audio and video IN settings? (S-video/Line in, or composite)
