    any software to check for pixel errors on a Mpg / Dat file
    no need to repair, just scan for info can already.

    Pixel errors? You are kidding right? Why? What do you intend to do when you find them? Errors in data are just that errors. How it translates to a monitor will vary.

    I just thought of checking my collection of cd-r movies and throwing away those that has pixel errors. too lazy to view them thought maybe there's a software that can check.

    You can have visual errors in correct data. How would software know what's meant to be there, and what is a problem ?
