ill tell u what im trying to make. im making 2 mpg's(dvd format) with TMPGEnc, then i want to make mpg 1 fade into mpg 2. what program can i do this with?

It is a superb frame-accurate MPEG/VOB cutter, it has a variety of fade in/out options and 3D transition effects, it is fast and reliable, and - best of all - it reencodes (if needed) only those portions of mpeg/vob file you have altered by adding visoal effects etc.. Otherwise, your edited video output is generated without any alterations.

The program is very intuitive and you should have no (major) problems figuring out how to do what you want. All transition effects are pre-set for you so it is for the most part a matter of drag-and-drop. You can, ofcourse, tweak fairly easily any thansition effect to your liking.
