I noticed that the menu does not come up as the default when a dvdr is loaded into the player made with the Pioneer 220-S. Is there a way to change this where the menu comes up as the default? Yes, I already know all you have to do is press the "menu" button but I was wondering about the question above since it just seems logical with multiple titles, instead of just start playing the first title by default.

I don't believe there is a way to make it the default, no. I know you can do it on the Panasonic E85, but I haven't seen this feature on any of the Pioneers.

Yes. ..is also with the iLO too.
When I first noticed this on my iLO, I thought it was normal, and all I
had to do just press the menu or was it root button. Anyways, then I
got the 220-S, and sure enough, it was the same symtoms. I just chucked
it off to tipicle behaviour of both brand units.
